And it came to ago, when men began to tider on the anlet of the earth, and
daughters were born to hem,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men and that they were fair; and
hy wed any of hem which hy chose.
And the Lord said, ‘My ghost shall not always flite with man, for hy also be
flesh: yet her days shall be a hundred and twenty years.’
There were Nephilim on the earth in those days; and also after that, when
the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children mid
hem, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of lise.
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that
every leaning of the thoughts of her hearts were only evil all the time.
And the Lord forthought that hy had made man on the earth, and her heart
mourned.
And the Lord said, I will quench man whom I have made from the anlet of the
earth; both man, and deer, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the
lift; for it mourneth me that I have made hem.
When my soul grew wan within me I brought to mind the Lord: and my bede came
in to thee, into thine holy harrow.
